Martha’s Vineyard Custom Design

Viking Kitchens worked closely with homeowner and interior designer Kate Joyce and the team at Creative Builders of New England on this custom designed, rich-hued yet earthy summer home in Chilmark, Marthas Vineyard. Kate envisioned a neutral overall space where the kitchen would anchor the home with a grounding and bold paint finish. She also wanted to feature natural and textured materiality. These Greenfield cabinets were finished in custom colors to match Benjamin Moore Salmon Stream and Gray Mist and topped off with Platinum Blue quartzite. This counter choice was love at first sight during our MSI showroom visit due to the large movement and rust undertones that paired so well with the cabinet color. 

The laundry room is color-drenched from the custom millwork bench to the walls and trim to match the Siteline cabinetry above the laundry machines. The bathrooms are all about the tile! The Siteline wall-mounted bathroom vanities were selected to complete these spaces by complimenting the other finishes with natural wood tones and textures of walnut and white oak.

The Joyce family was able to move in right in time to enjoy the summer season! We can’t wait to see how they furnish and accessorize their new home.
