Situated on the picturesque Connecticut shoreline, this breathtaking home by Creative Builders is beautifully balanced by elegant details and refined materials.

Ultracraft Cabinetry provided the classic white kitchen in the Breckenridge door style in their Arctic White paint, contrasted with the dark cherry wood island and bar stained in a dark Wenge finish.  Highlights include a custom hood with an open display to showcase the homeowner’s extensive glass and ceramic collections, flanked by full length glass cabinetry.  Panels conceal the dishwasher and refrigerator to minimize the look of the appliances, emphasizing the detailed coffered ceiling inlayed with beadboard.

The island features some interesting design elements as well.  Large carved legs anchor each end of the nine foot long counter, providing comfortable seating for four.  Another distinctive attribute is the cabinets that appear to run the length of the island, which when viewed from the side reveal drawer fronts that overlap onto the open cabinetry on each end.  The bar and pantry are tucked away in small, dedicated rooms directly off the kitchen, providing additional, purposeful storage.
