Kitchen Design in Tolland

This new construction home by Nordic Builders is part of the Owl Ridge development in Tolland. After collaborating closely with the homeowner and understanding their distinct style, this home now perfectly meets the needs of their family. 

The kitchen was featured in the CNC Cabinetry nationwide social media design competition and won runner-up.

The white painted finish paired with the light stain accent island is on trend and timeless. This space is beautifully laid out to connect seamlessly with the breakfast table and living room. Unique details such as an open bookcase at the end of the island, a bar with an open wine rack and invisible locking base cabinetry for liquor storage, and a large clean-up area at the sink run all serve the homeowner’s family and hosting lifestyle. Beyond the large kitchen is an equally large and farm-style walk-in pantry. The homeowners wanted to keep all countertop appliances out of sight and utilize this space for food prep so the kitchen could remain a space for entertaining. The tile, Daltile quartz counters, and wood tops tie it all together for a cohesive and personal space.
